All
along the Marbella coast there are lovely stretches of golden
sand where the beaches merge seamlessly with the azure-blue sea
of the Mediterranean.
Particularly beautiful beaches are to be found around Tarifa where the windswept
Atlantic makes it a haven for wind surfers and well worth a day-trip.
Close to
us, those beaches in Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona are
safe, shallow and very sandy. All along
the coast, sun-loungers
and their shady canopies can be rented and just a short stroll
away are usually numerous beach-side bars and restaurants.
For example, the view below is of the Marbella beach itself
with the marina just beyond.

Along the promenade and on the beach there are numerous restuarants, including many fantastic chiringuitos (those on the beach), to choose from.
Here you can enjoy many varieties of fish, freshly caught that morning, as well as other local dishes served at your table, just a few steps from the water's edge and your sun-lounger.
You can also take the ferry, see below, that goes from the nearby port to Puerto Banus to give you wonderful views of the Marbella coastline. |
